Mary Kay Makeup Party

On Saturday, I had a MK Party at my house. We had a really good time. I told Bailey a couple of days before the party that she could stay at home with me during the party (while Bradley takes Brenyn with him) and we would put on makeup and eat. She was so excited! So, here's the dependables--Jennifer, Stacy, Allison (our consultant/friend/fellow dependable), Jamie, Jessica and Bailey. I call them the dependables, because if there is a baby shower, wedding shower, makeup/jewelry/home/whatever party, you can count on this group to be there! We are very supportive of each other.

I also wanted to share pictures of Bailey putting on her makeup! She was so funny. She wanted to do it all by herself. Aunt Jen Jen helped (what little Bailey would let her.) ;-)

First, she put on her eye shadow......How a left handed person puts on makeup, I'll never know.

Next, she put on her lipgloss. Look at that face....and that wide open mouth!

Here's Bailey after all of her makeup is applied. Isn't she beautiful!

Brenyn Can Feed Herself

Well, she's been feeding herself for a long time, but this is the first actual photos I have taken. She has gotten very handy with spoons, feeding herself beans and cornbread. Alot of food still lands on the floor, but overall she's doing very well. These are pictures of her eating french fries and chicken nuggets with her hands. She really likes to dip her food in the ketchup.

Okay, this is where it gets cute. After half of the fries are gone, Brenyn decides she wants to eat "just ketchup." I'm telling you, she loves ketchup....really, she loves all food. The baby will eat anything you give her!
So, here's Brenyn licking the ketchup out of her plate!

Not good enough. Dad hold that plate up for me.

Nope, still not good enough. Let me do it myself!

Oh, that is great! I just need to tilt it a little more.
(Yes, she did end up with ketchup on her nose after trying this one.)

Yuuummmeeee! Now let's try a couple more fries!

Wilbanks Look-alike Meter

This one may be a little more believable. Everyone always said Bailey looked like Bradley when she was a baby, but now some people are saying she is starting to look like me-must be the round face!

Wilbanks Look-alike Meter

I'm pretty sure this look alike meter is inaccurate!

Remembering Mamaw

This month my Mamaw would have had her 90th birthday. She went to be with the Lord last December. We have all missed her so much. Even now, writing this, the thoughts bring tears to my eyes. Each day, I know we all think about her and remember what "mamaw would have said/done". She was an angelic woman--always mending and doing this or that for her family, never a harsh word to say. We all strive to be like her and I can only hope that someday I have touched my childrens' lives the way she did.

This is the last picture of I have of mamaw. It was taken on October 6, 2007, the day we brought Brenyn home from the hospital.

Okay. I am sooo new to this blogging thing, but I really wanted to give it a try. So I hope you enjoy it!

Our Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was lots of fun. Both of the girls were big enough to enjoy all that was going on around them. Bailey and Brenyn were even in a little "play" orchestrated by Aunt Moosie. It was just too cute.

Brenyn got a bounce and spin zebra (among other things), which right now, she cares nothing about! ;-)

Bailey got a Disney Princess bicycle and a ton of other stuff! She finally got the hang of pedalling the bicycle after practicing for a couple of days.

And, oh the "water bottle" she asked Santa for! She was soooo excited about this water bottle.

Bailey is snug as a bug in a rug trying on Olivia's clothes.

Brenyn enjoyed handing out presents. Look at that sweet face! This was Uncle Jarrod's gift and it must have been really heavy!!

My naughty little elf! How precious is that??
